The Group
The main thing I want to emphasize is that we are a recreational paintball organization. The economy tanking hurt a lot of players financially, and forced a lot of people to consider, is paintball is really what they should be spending money on?

We are focusing on inviting as many new faces to come out and play as possible. Our focus is on making the time spent playing paintball together as enjoyable as possible for everyone.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to play with us.  We ask for very little back, and want to keep it that way.

Gear/Equipment/Uniforms
There is no required attire to be a member of Treasure Valley Paintball. This doesn't stop you from getting together with your buddies and getting the same setup.  If you want to wear your own personalized gear, you are more than welcome.

Games
We get together just about every two weeks to shoot some paint and have fun. We do our best to split up teams to try to make them as fair as possible, go out, and enjoy ourselves.
A designated group member will post on the the calendar and in the Games and Events section of the forum when and where we will be playing, along with what time and where we will meet if there is a meeting place. He will also, depending on the location, post information about the game styles that we will be playing. If you don't like where we're playing, instead of saying I don't like it, suggest a different place to play. Anyone is more than welcome to post in the games section if they want to schedule their own gathering.  Myself or Andrew will throw it on the calendar for you.

What to bring
You are responsible to bring your own paint, air, CO2, markers, etc. If you need to borrow something, post it on the forums and see if someone has a spare to loan you.  The forums are here for you to communicate with other paintballers, if you want to split a case of paint, post that under the game thread and I'm sure you'll find someone more than happy to go halfzies with you.

Events
To simplify events we attend, they are going to be handle as follows. Any game or event that we are aware of will be posted in the Games & Events section of the forums. We prefer if you post whether you wish to attend or not, but it is not required. Posting allows everyone else to know who is expected.

You are responsible to get yourself to the game. People will post on the forums if they are riding or driving. Carpooling will save you money, and is better for the environment. Whoever is driving sets his own price to get there and back. Normally it's splitting the cost of the gas to get to and from the event split between everyone who is in the car. So naturally, the more people in the car, the cheaper it is for those people. Remember, the forums are here to help YOU communicate with other members.

If there is a game or event that you are interested in attending but isn't posted, follow these steps on the forums:
Create a new topic in the Games and Events section.
The subject name should read: Game Name - Date

In the message body, please put in:

Name
Date
Location
Registration (Pre and & field, if any)
Paint Situation (BYPO or Field Paint & Cost)
Amenities (Air refills, toilets, Chrono, etc)

Naturally, the more information we have, the more likely we will look into the game. People will post if they are attending or not. An administrator will add your new event or game to the calender.

Summary
We want to make everyone's experience playing paintball with this group as fun as possible. To do so, we do not ask for team dues, catches or hooks, and your not required to buy equipment/gear/uniforms. We get together just about every two weeks to play some games and to shoot some paint. You are only responsible for yourself and your equipment. If you want more detail, read the rest of the post!

Finally, the forums and website are here for YOU. It is a place to find information, contact other players, get together for things outside of paintball, and over all enjoyment. It's up to you how active or inactive you are here, they are simply here to help you.  If you want another Forum, post and one of the Admins will add it.  If you want more information, post on the forums and we will add it to the site!
